SIGNS OF INFECTIOUS CORYZA

• Swelling of one or both infraorbital sinuses.
• Facial swelling.
• Serous nasal discharge.
• Lacrimation. 
• Decreased feed and water intake.
• Diarrhea.

Infectious coryza is an acute respiratory disease of chickens. The disease occurs worldwide and causes economic losses due to culling and a drop in egg production.

Transmission is by direct contact, airborne droplets, and contamination of drinking water. Transmission does not occur via eggs.

Chickens of all ages are susceptible.
