• Inappetence.
• Twisting of the neck.
• Dark green diarrhea.
• Respiratory distress.
• Clear mucus discharge from the mouth.
• Tremors and convulsions.
• In laying birds, partial to complete drop in egg production.
• Sudden death (maybe the only sign).
• Up to 100% morbidity and mortality.

Birds affected by this disease are: fowls, turkeys, geese, ducks, guinea fowl and ostriches.

Infected birds shed the virus in exhaled air, respiratory discharge, and feces.
